Are you looking to play a key role in leading at a strategic level, building a strong, innovative culture and influencing positive outcomes with stakeholders?
Western Victoria Primary Health Network (PHN) is one of 31 federally funded entities throughout Australia established to support general practice, health planning, health system integration and commissioning services in line with national and local health priorities. It looks at ways to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services for patients, particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes, and improve coordination of care to ensure patients receive the right care in the right place at the right time.
This key appointment reports to the Director Health Services and offers plenty of autonomy and responsibility for decision making at the local level. You will be an integral player on the senior leadership team and will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in developing, implementing and managing regional and organisational activities, developing and managing stakeholder relationships and building a well-connected, performance-driven operation that achieves organisational goals. This will require you to participate in business strategy and operational planning, culture development, change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will be joining an energised, innovative and forward-thinking organisation and your entrepreneurial ‘bent’ and healthy levels of motivation will guarantee your success. Politically astute, you bring highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, the capacity to build and lead sustained relationships across a breadth of stakeholders and a genuine commitment to making your mark on an organisation’s success. Tertiary qualified in management, health or human services, you can point to a record of achievement and extensive experience at a senior level within community focussed organisations. Sound like you?
