Natural Hazards Research Australia is being established as a world-leading research centre for natural hazard resilience and disaster risk reduction.  It will be one of Australia’s largest repositories of research data, products and applications aimed at mitigating the occurrence and severity of natural hazards and natural disasters. It will build on current research into bushfires and natural hazards including the work of the Bushfire and Natural Hazards Cooperative Research Centre and its predecessor, the Bushfire CRC.

Reporting to the CEO, you will be a key player in delivering a range of EA services to ensure the smooth running of the CEO’s office including providing executive support to the Chair and Board, preparing reports, correspondence, agendas, attending meetings and taking minutes, and diary and travel management. The role also has oversight of human resources matters such as recruitment, policy, training and OH&S advice.

This hands-on, varied position will be for an initial period of 18 months with the possibility of ongoing extension beyond December 2022.
