  • Be part of the new leadership team contributing to…a measurably healthier Gippsland

Interested in providing vision and innovative leadership to guide this newly formed not-for-profit organisation in delivering healthy outcomes for the community?

Gippsland Primary Health Network (GPHN) is at an exciting phase of its formation and is currently recruiting its CEO and executive team to lead the organisation to achieve its vision of a measurably healthier Gippsland. In the first instance, the Board will appoint the new CEO followed by the successful appointee having direct involvement in the recruitment of the executive team.

GPHN is a recently established federally funded primary health care organisation with a focus on supporting general practice, health planning, health system integration and commissioning services in line with national and local health priorities. It looks at ways to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services for patients, particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes, and improve coordination of care to ensure patients receive the right care in the right place at the right time.

This key appointment enables you to make your mark on an organisation’s success whilst combining the benefits of lifestyle and career in this great regional location. Reporting to the Board, you will lead this new organisation to improve the region’s primary health system. Operating within national parameters, you will provide strategic and business leadership and guide the success of the organisation in fulfilling the goals of a Primary Health Network. The role demands skills in influencing, negotiating, navigating change and working across multi-stakeholder environments.

Politically astute, you consider yourself to be an enthusiastic, motivated leader with highly developed communication and interpersonal skills and the capacity to manage and influence across a breadth of stakeholders. With a genuine commitment to actively leading, inspiring and driving a complex organisation, you bring relevant executive level experience and knowledge within health, tertiary qualifications to postgraduate level and a record of outstanding achievement. Sound like you?
