Located approximately 100 kilometres east of Melbourne, it has 101 beds and provides a broad range of services including acute medical & surgical, paediatric, obstetrics & gynaecology, emergency, and community, aged care and linen services. Its primary catchment area is the rapidly growing Shire of Baw Baw with patients also presenting from other local government areas in Gippsland and outer Melbourne.
This Executive appointment reports to the CEO, has exposure to the Board and is both strategic and operational. You will , function as the Director of Nursing and Midwifery as well as clinical leadership to the Medical staff in the delivery of acute and aged care clinical services. As part of the executive leadership team, you will act as principal advisor to the CEO and Board on all hospital-based and aged care nursing and clinical services, contribute to strategic planning and policy direction, develop and monitor quality programs, manage budgets and network across key stakeholders.
