Based in the Melbourne Trustee Office you will have responsibility for managing all aspects of member insurances including strategy, benefit design, corporate insurance arrangements and oversight of claims. The role requires you to draw on your well-developed strategic capability as well as having the flexibility to work at the operational level when required. You will deal with a range of internal and external stakeholders including third party providers, make recommendations to the Board and relevant Committee and oversee the handling of insurance and claim-related complaints.
You pride yourself on your strong customer service focus, capacity to establish and maintain positive, sustained relationships across a range of stakeholders, and your ability to provide advice in this specialist field. A self-starter, you value an environment that encourages the contribution of new ideas, using your initiative and taking ownership as part of a motivated, forward-thinking team. To be successful you will possess demonstrated management level experience in group life insurance within a superannuation fund, insurer, broker or fund administrator, be RG146 compliant and ideally tertiary qualified.
